AIC provides quality substance abuse prevention, intervention, treatment and aftercare, primarily, to Western Kansas communities in an atmosphere of mutual respect and understanding.
The program is based on the disease concept of addictive illness and as such, constantly strives to practice current treatment methods. AIC will continue as a resource for anyone searching for information about chemical dependency, including 12-step group information, inpatient treatment information and tackling other addictions i.e. gambling.
- AIC believes the client always comes first.
- AIC demonstrates dignity and respect to all clients, family, and participants.
- AIC collaborates with other providers, court systems and community members.
- AIC must help those who take that first step toward recovering from addiction only to find they also recover in so many other aspects in their lives. “Develop an attitude of gratitude and give thanks for everything that happens to you, knowing that every step forward is a step toward achieving something bigger and better than your current situation.”
